Every year we transfer millions (yes millions) of feet of 8mm, Super 8mm and 16mm film as well as every kind of video format: VHS, BETAMAX, 8mm, Mini DV (and most other formats, including obscure and obsolete ones). We transfer to Archival Platinum DVDs and also to DVA - Digital Video Archive, the first cloud-based archival and viewing system for your memories.

Beginning back in the 1980’s, Producer/Director Robert Hanley, our Founder and CEO, began transferring film. At that time, Robert was a Producer/Director/Editor who began by transferring his own family’s old 8mm film. Hanley recounts it like this: “Back in 1984 there were very high-end transfer systems for Hollywood and the like, but virtually nothing for Mom and Pop. I tinkered and toyed with transfer throughout the 1980’s and on June 14, 1991, my wife and I decided to go full time into the ‘transfer business.’ I was mesmerized by the whole idea of it!”
